Moving Labor in Nashville, Brentwood & Franklin
Careful hands for loading, unloading and moving things around the house. You handle the truck or container. We handle the heavy part.
The truck is the easy part
Renting the truck or the container takes ten minutes. What goes wrong is everything around it: the sofa that won't make the turn, the dresser that scrapes the door frame, the floor that gets gouged, the crew that's racing the clock.
What you get
- Loading and unloading your rental truck, moving container or storage unit.
- In-home moves: rearranging rooms, or moving furniture between floors.
- Furniture padded and wrapped before it moves.
- Floors and door frames protected along the path.
- Standard furniture taken apart and put back together.
- Everything placed in the room you choose, not left by the door.
The clock is out loud
Moving labor is billed by the hour, so we run the clock where you can see it. We announce the start time. Breaks are paused and shown on the invoice. You get a running total by text about halfway through, and a heads-up at 60% if it's running long, not a surprise at the end.
What it costs
You'll get a dollar range for your job on the call, not just an hourly rate, so you can budget for the real number.
What we don't do
- Packing, unless it's quoted separately.
- Concert grand pianos, or safes over 900 pounds.
Questions we get
Do you bring a truck?
No. This is labor only. You arrange the truck, container or storage unit, and we do the loading and unloading. If you'd rather have the truck handled too, Mindful Movers also does full-service moves within Tennessee.
How many people do I need?
We'll tell you on the call. Sometimes a bigger crew is actually cheaper because the job finishes faster.
Can you move a piano or a safe?
Yes, most of them. They're quoted separately by make and model or by weight, and we confirm those before quoting.
Who books it?
Moving labor is booked through our moving crew, Mindful Movers. It's the same company and the same people.
